WvN @ Aspen Ideas Festival

For over 60 years, the Aspen Institute has been the nation’s premier gathering place for leaders from around the globe and across many disciplines to engage in deep and inquisitive discussion of the ideas and issues that both shape our lives and challenge our times. The 2013 Aspen Ideas Festival will feature a series of live presentations produced by the Worldviews Network as part of the program tracks Space and the Cosmos and How We Learn. The Worldviews Network participants, including Dr. Ka Chun Yu and Dr. Bob Raynolds of the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, Dr. Ned Gardiner of NOAA’s Climate Program Office, and David McConville of The Elumenati, will be leading interactive tours throughout the week featuring cosmic, global, and bioregional visualizations. The presentations will take place within a 34′ diameter geodesic dome originally created by R. Buckminster Fuller for the Aspen Institute, which The Elumenati is converting into an immersive projection theater.
